A Very Fun Day

Well we have been looking forward to today for a while now! There was a pastor's get-together in Sussex, and Daddy and Mommy were going to be there,So the girls and I planned to go with Ryan to "hang out with Mommy for the morning while Daddy and Ryan had their meeting! Sooo Frenchies here we came! We had lots of fun with Grammie. Elin especially is in love with her, and was on her hip most of the morning. After Frenchies , we stopped at the giant cows to get our pictures taken with them! The girls thought they were the funniest things ever!!

                                                          Then off the the park!! Grammie set the 2 littlest in a swing together and they LOVED it!!

                                                Elin's lunch was over, and nap time a l m o s t begun!!

                                                   Fianlly we were joined by Grampie and Daddy, and got down to the business of eating our picnic lunch! Today was extra special because we were going to celebrate Grammie's 55th birthday a few days late!

                                                 Ever since we moved back home from Ontario,almost 7 years  ago I have made Mommy a Black Forrest cake on her birthday, well since we didn't get to see her on her big day this year, I still was able to keep tradition alive  (in a travel friendly,picnic friendly format)

                                       After lunch the girls ran back to play, and Eva decided she wanted to play with Grampie now that he was here. She was leaning out through the bars yelling "Umpie,Umpie"

                                   We had 4 tired little girls on the way home ! But were they ever happy!!

First Days of School

Our First Days of School have been a little bit crazy and a whole lot of fun!! Emily is starting grade 3 ,Elle pre-K and Eva....well, let's just say she is just  in it for the fun of it!!

                                                      Emily is learning history this year staring waaaaaaaaaaay back at the beginning...Creation!! So for her project one day she had to create..and did she ever have fun! She smushed at least 10 animals into 1 for her "original" idea!!

Our Beautiful Table!!

This is our beautiful new/old table!! Daddy built it for Mommy over 25 years ago, and when they moved to Wickham ,they couldn't take it with them as it wouldn't fit in their new home. So they asked us if we would like to have it ,a inheritance gift early, and as it needed a refinishing job, Rysie worked on it for hours, days and weeks to give it a gleam again! It turned out soo beautifully.I'm so proud of the table..a gift from my parents, and built and refinished by two of the most special men in the world!

This is our teeniest one showing off her crawling skills that she learned a week ago today. She LOVES being able to get where she wants to go now. Notice big sister Eva's book and toy being moved in the bottom left hand corner as Elin sits down. Eva still has a hard time with Elin getting close to or touching her things!!

 The girls' playroom is downstairs, and so my poor baby crawls over to watch for them as she hears them playing beneath her. It is soo cute to see her tiny head pressed to the rails hoping to see her sisters!
