One day Ryan came upon Elle counting with Eva from a book of finding things hidden within the pictures, snuggled on the couch, and he plopped Elin up with them .They were so happy .

These two are becoming the best of friends lately. It is so adorable watching them play...and fight ...although the fighting isn't all that adorable. Here Elin had gotten herself up on the footstool and Eva started to tickle her.
The giggling was so cute!
When I got married Mommy gave me my baby book, my old baby blanket and a special outfit I had worn as a baby. Well, I was going through my "stuff" the other day, and came across all of it, and tried the sweater and hat on Elin.
She looks nothing like I did in it, but was feeling very special non the less!
She did have 3 sisters and a mommy gooing at her the whole time!!
Well the big news around here was that we finally deemed Elin skilled enough in stair climbing and descending to take the baby gates off the 2 sets of stairs in our home. All the girls' big girl toys are in the basement of out home,so Elin would watch from upstairs as the girls played on the landing and stairs below her. Well, these pictures were taken the first day we took the gates off...Elin was in heaven!! She was right in the middle of the action now!!

I'm, not sure what the attraction the stairs hold for the girls as their favorite play area, but they will play there all day long. Putting their babies to bed, lining them on the stairs and "sleeping " on the stair above the babies. They have tea parties on the landing, and pretend that it is their house. Now that Elin has the run of the house..there are a few more exasperations with their play..i.e. a little sister without an imagination, stealing their tea party food...stealing their babies or baby's clothes . But all in all it has been a fun change for our family!I must admit a tear trickled from my eye as I put those old baby gates away for the last time...sigh!!

Now that Elin is down with the girls in the toy room, the dress up clothes are at her disposal..or she is at her sisters' disposal to be a real live baby!!
