Catching Up (AGAIN!!!)

  Well here we are all fall festive and happy and healthy!! It is hard to believe that it is getting closer to Christmas every day and farther from fall. SO here I go again trying to catch up on our activities!!

We had lots of fun getting ready for Halloween this year. One of the biggest hits for getting a laugh  around the house were our candy corn teeth that I invented, and the girls loved to see who looked the funniest wearing. The problem was, every time one would laugh, the candy corn would pop out !! But then again that was half the fun losing your "teeth" every time you giggled!!

Every year our in-house pumpkin artist gets to work designing gorgeous works of art out of those huge orange gourds. 

I proudly grew 17 of them in my tiny garden this year, and we were so excited to begin pickthe perfect design for each girl.

 Emily decided this year she would carve her own and away she went...I was so proud of her!

 Ryan helped the rest of the girlsies, but they all did their fair share of seed scooping!

                                              Sadly our adorable "Bear" happened to decide he liked the taste of raw pumpkin and destroyed all Emily's hard work the next morning, but she bravely carved another one and it was just as sweet as her first!!

 We snuck away from Sussex for the evening on October 31st and "found" ourselves back in  dear Wood Point. We had so much fun "visiting" all of our wonderful and greatly missed friends there for the night. We tumbled into bed later that evening so happy and thankful. October was finished..crazy.. where had the time gone???
