Well a week ago 70 lbs of pure muscle moved into our home and hearts. And no Ryan hasn't suddenly
had a work out break through!! The boy in question's name is Jake and he is a 7 year old Valley Bulldog. He was gifted to our family ,and we are loving him so much.
We all love getting Jake snuggles
And we think he loves getting us snuggles!!!
As Eva keeps saying..."This is Jake...he's a bo-dog" ( 3 year old talk for "bull-dog")
Jake loves lying around,watching us and sleeping
And usually there is someone close by him. This was Elle who was supposed to be at the table doing her schoolwork....
It was getting done.....
Just not in the normal place!!
We think Jake is pretty handsome,
and we let him know all the time!!
He makes us feel pretty well loved too. Ryan especially is enjoying having Jake at our home. Although their wrestling scares us girls, they both love it,and have a great time tumbling around on the floor. Jake loves the van,although he usually tries to sit on my lap, as the front seat is his place to be.
Jake is also used to sleeping on a bed...now, having a dog on our beds has never been allowed in our house before Jake moved in.Now since he has been here, every night Eva has a big warm sleeping companion. Let me just say that this is supposed to be how it is every night.Jake sleeping on his own knitted blanket,over top of Eva's quilt..But although I haven't gotten a picture of it yet, what has been happening, it that Jake will go to sleep like a good boy on his blanket at the bottom of Eva's bed,but by morning, there will be a bulldog,and a 3 year old sharing the same pillow,snuggling each other very happily.
