This winter we have had alot of growing up experiences happen in our family. We have all had fun skating at the rink in town and for Elle and Eva this was their first time on skates! Elin had fun in her stroller, and big sister Emily who is still a little wobbly herself took it as her job to push the stroller, and stabilize herself in the process!!
Eva would be just as happy getting pushed around on the little walker then skate with it!!
This has been a very familiar sight this winter!!
And this has too. Our ice times are usually right after lunch and Elin still manages to get her nap in much to Em's delight!!

Another big milestone in our family was the potty training of our baby!! This is how it is done in our family these days..pretty cushy ..watching Dora,and eating snacks with the big sisters!! Elin caught on quick and now I'm without a baby in diapers...:0(
I walked into the spare bedroom one morning to find these two checking the morning e-mails, and TSN together..Elin was hanging on for dear life, but she wanted to be just like Daddy!!
Our girls had the privilege of entering a art contest at the Legion, and Elle won first in her age division and Emily came second in hers. They were both very happy, and we were proud of them .Here is Elle accepting her prize money and certificate.

A milestone for Elle was learning to hand stitch.. Her little turtle's life was spared because of it, and there wasn't a prouder 5 year old I don't think!!
Elin's first night in a"big girl bed" a momentousness occasion for everyone in our family to celebrate with her!!

She was so cute as she hugged me good night for her first sleep without a side rail. Now she didn't make it all night in bed , there were tears and a sad 2 year old on the floor a few hours later, but she is getting used to it quickly.
Sick day for Ryan. He got hit with a pretty bad cold and fever, and spent a day in bed . Now he wasn't without company however!! His side kick Jake wasn't far from his feet, and he usually had a daughter or 2 curled up with him as well.

Eva had her final Eye exam before she gets her glasses. Here she is with her pupils all dilated waiting to see the Dr.
She was quite nervous,and excited to pick out her glasses all at the same time!!
