Eva Is 5!!!!

Eva has been anxiously awaiting this birthday for a few years. When she turned 4 last year she cried because she wasn't turning 5.....the reason???? Our girls get their ears pierced for their 5th birthday and she wanted those earrings badly!!! So here she is the week of her birthday in the chair waiting for that bling!! Her best friend Addison wanted to wait until Eva got her ears pierced to get her own done and so our families met at the salon and the girls got their ears pierced together.

              Ready to go!!!!
                             No tears, just happy grins!!!

Back at our house we partied with pizza and brownies and icecream!!
oh and gifts....lots of fun gifts!!!

                 Then sparklers!!!!!
Ryan and Darren were the fire starters!!
Addi was more than a bit nervous of the sparks

While our girls were grabbing them as fast as they could
Addi found baby bunnies to be  much more her thing!!!
                                                    They consider themselves sisters...so sweet.
Eva's birthday breakfast of choice..the morning of the big # 5!!
Grampie and Grammie came for the lunch feast
And a lady from our church who shares Eva's birthday brought her a special teeny personal cake.

Birthday books from Grammie!!!  So Eva Grace is 5 and Kindergarten is just around the corner!!!!

May

The month of May was a very busy time. It was a month filled with Hellos and Goodbyes and lots of "Way to GOs!!!" And "See ya in the falls"
Good bye to our old van which had been in our family for 6 years!!
Hello to 2 new baby bunnies. Now each little girl had a bunny or her own to snuggle and take care of.Elin named hers Aurora

And Eva named her new pet Rosie.
They are so cute and tiny!
                                  Nifty Bunny carrier!!

Elle and her senior rabbit Betsy. Emily bought Betsy for Elle for Christmas with her own money when Elle was 18 months old!!!   Emily's bunny's name is Esther and Em got her last summer.
The girls went to Regionals with their Heritage fair projects and both did exceptionally well again. Emily won the Labour History in New Brunswick award

Emily got an award from her piano teacher( Grammie Cameron!!) for passing the most songs for the year!! A giant wooden cat, which she is in love with!!
And all of the girls did very well in their  Awana studies also. Eva finished the Cubbies program.
Elle got her first book award
Emily passed her book too and also got an award for the most sections passed in a certain time. As I was a Cubbies helper this year, Elin was a Jr. member of sorts and got a handshake and certificate too!!
May was also the month I got my garden planted!! I was soooo excited to get to grow our own food again!!!

They worked so hard on them.

Em and Ryan researching for her project on Beekeeping in Canada (early in the morning!)
Day of the local Heritage Fair and Elle is all set up and awaiting the judging.
                           Emily is all set!!(and nervous!)
All of her beekeeping tools were  compliments of Grampie Cameron
Some of the group at the awards program singing The national anthem .
First place goes to Emily in her age group!!
