Father's Day..Bringing The Winds of Change

Ryan was celebrated again this Father's Day for being the wonderful dad that he is. The girls are always up for a party, and that's what we gave him! He received gifts galore, and we had a great day together!

A new waffle iron from Elle
A new book from Emmy. These were his 2 favourites I think..gifts I mean!
After Church, Elle was finally allowed to paint her nails by herself for the first 'time. Now, it did become quite a mess, and her little church skirt(why didn't I get her to change???)had a new bright pink splotch or two before it was all over. But she did it, and realized that in spite of what SHE thought, she was a little too young to do her own nails. Mommy has the job for a few more years!
                                               Super concentration.
After church, we all went to the board walk/duck pond, for a fun filled walk..one of our last ones there sadly. Ryan had resigned that morning, from little Wood Point Baptist Church, where we have happily been for 7 1/2 years. Our little family was a little sad, and needing some fun, so we all went out and lost our sadness in wild life, and the sun for an hour or two.
We brought our ole pooch Phronsie, and she showed off her budding "heeling" skills excellently! SO excellently in fact that the girls were allowed to walk her by themselves for the first time ever.
                                                Our 3 oldest blessings...
                                                 All 4 of them!
                                                            Yay for sisters!
A mommy goose and her babies. so cute!
Our Eva, with her lupins ..even cuter!!
                                                 Happy Elle with her puppy
Momma goose nervously watching us..and her babies
At supper that evening Elin tried out her grown up skills with helping herself to the cheesies while we weren't watching  . She was so proud of herself, and the other girls couldn't stop giggling!!

So yes, here we are embarking on another journey, and new ministry in Sussex N.B., the purchase of our first home!!! Many exciting things thing, but many stressful things, and sad things too. :Leaving behind our dear church family in Wood Point, and our beloved parsonage where we have raised our little family for the last number of years.  God is good and we have seen him go before us in great ways, leading us every step of this new path.
