Some of you know little Elin's story and are aware that she hasn't heard properly due to fluid build up in her ears for a year at least, and maybe since birth. We had a big day with her recently to go and meet the surgeon who will be performing the operation to place tubes in her tiny eardrums. Well Elin thought it was just great getting Mommy and Daddy all to herself for a big trip to the I.W.K. (the children's hospital in Halifax)
She was hardly still a moment..she is such a busy little girl.
Once she tired of climbing and exploring the waiting room, she busied herself with the magazines.

Once all the waiting, one last hearing test and the appointment was over, she was given her very own sticker for being so good.
Darling little thing! She was so good all afternoon.
She had a much needed nap on the way back to Aunt Jenny's to pick up her sisters...and celebrate Aunt Jenny's, Uncle T.J's,and Daddy's birthday in a combined birthday bash.
